🏌️ Pine Tree Mules

The scoring app runs in your phone's browser — no App Store, no download.

Open the app:
Go to pine-tree-mules.web.app in Safari (iPhone) or Chrome (Android).

Save it to your home screen so it feels like a real app:

1 Open the app in Safari
2 Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (the box with an arrow pointing up)
3 Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
4 Tap Add — done

The first time you open the app it will ask you to identify yourself. Pick your name from the list — the app remembers your device from then on.

First-time setup: Once you've identified yourself, verify your GHIN number and default tee are correct. If anything looks wrong, let the admin know.

The Rounds tab (leftmost, always the first screen you see) shows all upcoming rounds.

Rounds Scores Standings History Email

Each card shows the date and who's already signed up as name pills below it. Your name appears in green when you're in.

Rounds are scheduled by the admin, typically a week or more ahead. You'll see them here as soon as they're on the calendar.

Tip: Check the Rounds tab at the start of the week to see which games are coming up and who's in.

On each upcoming round card you'll see one of two buttons on the right:

Add me in — tap this to sign up for the round

Remove me — tap this if you're already signed up but can't make it

After tapping Add me in your name pill appears immediately on the card so others can see you're in.

Please sign up by the day before so the admin can set groups and tee times. If something comes up, remove yourself as early as possible.

Pay the banker before your round starts. The banker collects entry fees for points and skins. Cash or Venmo — ask at the first tee.

Confirm your group. When you open the app on game day and tap into Scores, you'll see your group listed. If something looks wrong — wrong players, wrong tees — let the admin know before you start.

The admin sets groups and tees. Your points goal is automatically calculated from your previous rounds. If your goal looks wrong, check with the admin.

Open the app and tap Scores. You'll see the current hole with your group's players listed.

There are two scoring modes:

Group mode (default when you're grouped) — One person enters scores for the whole group using the number pad at the bottom. Tap a player's name to select them — they highlight in gold — then tap their score. The app automatically moves to the next player without a score.

Me mode — Enter only your own score. Tap the score box next to your name and type it in.

Navigate holes using the dot row at the bottom or swipe left/right.

Tip: In group mode, one person per group should be the designated scorer — usually the one with the best phone signal. Everyone can check scores on the Standings tab at any time.

Scores save to the cloud instantly as you enter them. No need to hit a save button.

Tap Standings to see the leaderboard. It updates live as scores come in from all groups.

The leaderboard shows:

· Each player's score vs. their points goal
· Points earned so far
· Skins won (shown as a circle on the hole they won)

Use the Standings tab to verify your group's scores look right after each hole. If you see an error, fix it immediately — it's much easier before the round is over.

After hole 18 is scored, the app shows a confirm screen. Review your scorecard — all 18 holes are listed with your score on each.

If everything looks right, tap Confirm. Once all players in your group have confirmed, the round moves to Finalized status and final results are calculated.

Important: Don't leave the course without confirming. The admin needs all players to confirm before payouts can be calculated.

If you spot a score error before confirming, tell your group — scores can still be corrected. After finalization, only the admin can make changes.

After the round is finalized, tap the Email tab to get your scorecard sent to you.

The email includes:

· Your hole-by-hole scores
· Points earned
· Skins won
· Final standings for the round

Enter your email address in the Email tab and tap Send. The app remembers your address for next time.

Results are also saved to your History tab, which shows your last several rounds with scores and earnings.

Payouts are calculated automatically when the round is finalized. The Standings tab shows exactly what each player is owed or owes.

Points — the pot is split among players based on points earned compared to your points goal. The number of places paid depends on the number of players in the game.

Skins — a skin is won when one player has the lowest score on a hole outright. The skins pot is divided equally among all skins won during the round.

Winners' payouts are shown in the final standings.

Tip: The banker pays your Venmo account directly, normally just after the last group confirms their scores.
